ASHRAE 135 - BACnet, A Data Communication Protocol for Building Automation and Control Networks

This standard defines a protocol for the communication of building automation and control system equipment (e.g. HVAC, lighting, access control, fire detection). It defines an object model, a set of application services and a family of network/data link layers (including BACnet/IP) used to expose and exchange that information between devices.
