IEEE 1815 - Distributed Network Protocol (DNP3)

This package provides a pure-Python implementation of DNP3 as defined by IEEE 1815, covering the protocol’s layered message structure together with the application-layer functions used to exchange data between masters and outstations. DNP3 defines a range of interoperable subset levels so that a device only needs to implement the functionality it requires: the smallest level targets inexpensive distribution feeder equipment, while the largest supports full-featured implementations.
